As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I am excited to share the glowing feedback from patrons who have savored the unique offerings here. Customer Jenn W raves about the Kiva Combination plate, highlighting the remarkable cheese pull of the Chile Relleno. This dish exemplifies the skill and passion of the chefs who craft each plate with care.
Meanwhile, Coldwell Banker High Desert Realty emphasizes the cafe's cleanliness and value, stating that the combination of good service and tasty food creates an experience worth stopping for. It's not just about filling your stomach; it's about savoring each bite and enjoying the welcoming vibes.
However, it’s Alan Strain's recommendation that truly underscores Brunch Kiva Cafe’s appeal. Stopping by during a traffic delay, he enjoyed a delicious plate of steak and enchiladas, complemented by exemplary service. His only critique? A tad too loud rap music coming from the kitchen, which can be overlooked given the culinary delights on offer.
In fact, customer Bill McManus had such a good experience that he made a point to return on his way back from Arizona. He recommends their Hatch green chiles, a perfect addition to any meal, promising authenticity wrapped in every bite.
If you’re a driver or simply love good food, Buddo Hood highlights the family-friendly atmosphere and diverse menu options available at Brunch Kiva Cafe. With ample seating and a dedicated staff, visitors can enjoy everything from fresh-made dishes to comforting classics. The red chile is especially praised, with Buddo declaring it spicy enough to clear sinuses, while the green promises even more heat.
In conclusion, Brunch Kiva Cafe is more than just a stopover; it's a destination that combines hearty fare, friendly service, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a traveler or a local, this cafe is well worth the visit. Make it your new favorite spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and taste the difference that passion and quality make.
“ This place was DELICIOUS!! They were really friendly. We are truck drivers that parked at the Love’s across the street and walked over. So glad we did. I got the Kiva Combination plate and hats off to the cook. My Chile Rellono had the best cheese pull when I cut into it. ”
“ Nice clean diner. Good service, good portion sizes. Tasty food at a great value. Stop in and check it out! ”
“ Stopped because of a traffic delay on interstate. Had steak and enchiladas and it was delicious! Service was great I will go back. It would be all 5 stars except for the rap music that was too loud coming from the kitchen. ”
“ We stopped on our way to AZ, and the food was so good we stopped on our way back. Order hatch green chiles with your meal! Authentic Mexican dishes! Very friendly staff, too! I'll try to post pics. ”
“ DRIVERS!!! Located right across from LOVES Travel Center. Plenty of seating in the dining room, both booths and tables. As well as some coffee shop style counter seats. Great menu options. Definately something for every ones taste palate! Everything we had was so good. Prepared fresh and to order! Server was on top of her game. The red chile was on point. They said the green was hottier but the red was already clearing my sinus! Family, children, Driver friendly! We recommend this place if you enjoy good service and awesome food. Keep up the great job! We look forward to visiting again! ”
“ Wow! This place has delicious food, I'm traveling to Phoenix and we stopped here to try some fry bread tacos. This is my first time trying fry bread and I am in love. The rice was perfectly seasoned and with a little spice. The beans were cooked well with the perfect amount of salt. Over all I am very happy with the entire meal. The Inside of the restaurant was beautiful and family friendly. It was modern with artsy decor. It had a touch of modern American decor with roots in indigenous style. The perfect hybridization. Highly recommend. Masks are required to enter to protect the community. ”
“ Tonight was Kiva Cafe night!! It's a small cafe just off I-40 in Milan, New Mexico. Everything was SUPER Delicious & created with Amazing Hot Red Chile. I highly recommend the Asada Burrito smothered in Red Chile. The people are very nice which makes the whole experience of eating here, more enjoyable!! Kudos to the Chef's Five Star dining experience.... ”
“ I'm a truck driver and I always try to stop here when I can. I love the Indian bread taco, I get it every time. I make my own tortillas (via mazza flower of course and they explained to me how to make authentic Indian bread, as well as sopapillas, which was really nice of them). Little slow. Deal with it, it's worth it. I don't understand the few bad reviews. I've never had a bad experience. The girls are young, and again yes, a little slow, and they do sometimes get really busy. But they are happy, upbeat, (and pretty) usually smiling unless busy or distracted and are very friendly. The salsa, red, may be less hot than the green, but it's hot. I can't take too much hot but the flavor is so good that I eat it anyway and even order some on the side to take with me occasionally. And I'm a salsa connoisseur. It's not the best in the world no, but it's damn good. Don't go in if you're in a rush, it'll just ruin the place for you and then you'll miss out on a good meal because you won't go back. But if you have the time to sit, maybe have a conversation, relax and enjoy a meal the way they're supposed to be eaten, then this place is pretty damn good. I think people forget that the world doesn't revolve around them and that not everybody likes things the way they do, and they also forget that that's okay, for those people, probably not the place for you. And for those that don't know because they can't be bothered to take the time to learn, Mexican culture in general is more relaxed and laid-back then rushed in nature, especially when it comes to meals and or social settings. This is especially true in smaller towns and rural areas. So if you're looking for fast food, this isn't it. And why the hell would anyone go to a Mexican restaurant and order burgers? Especially when you can get one out of the heat box at the Love's across the street. Or the McDonald's down the road. That to me is just stupid. ”
